Encouragement for the Team

Encouragement can make or break a team. Work team, sports team, mission team, any kind of team.

The youth group team shared about the mission trip they took to Mexico to build a house for a family at church today. First they went to team building camp. That made all the difference. It broke down barriers, cliques, fear. It built up confidence, faith, attitudes.
"You can do it."
"Don't give up."
"You're almost there."
The encouragement created energy that invigorated the team with enthusiasm.
They worked together, not as individuals. "I'm done with my job, what can I do for you?"
They finished ahead of schedule.
At the end of the day, they were exhausted.
But it felt good.
"It was so fulfilling and satisfying to accomplish something for someone who really needed and appreciated us."
Discover the difference encouragement makes.
