Attitude Encouragement

It recently occured to me that we have a choice to make in life. We can be contented, positive and thankful or we can be negative, unfulfilled and complaining. In a world out of control, your attitude is totally within your control.

Abraham Lincoln said it this way, "People are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." William James said, "The greatest discovery of any generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude."

Do you focus so much on negative energy-draining things that you can't be grateful for the gifts you are given every day? Gifts like a beautiful day, a lovely sunset, good health, a precious newborn, loving friends, freedom...look around and be grateful.

"Focusing on what we have, and not on what we don't have is positive energy in action," says Mac Anderson. Don't forget the best things in life are never things.

Try being grateful for the smallest kind deeds and show your appreciation for the significant and insignificant gifts life gives. You'll be amazed at the benefits.
